The organisation was founded in 2011 with the mission of providing professional management and advisory services to the tech and media sectors. Some of our projects can be viewed here: media assignments, telecoms assignments
Stephen started his career in telecoms by joining British Telecom's research laboratories after graduating from Oxford University in 1979. He contributed to the optical communications project and amassed a collection of inventions, patents, and journal papers, and the Gordon Radley Award for Innovation before leaving in 1990. After a short spell in Fujitsu he then moved to the USA to work for DSC (now a part of Alcatel-Lucent) in Dallas, returning in 1996 to head up their European marketing effort. In 1998 he was a part of the team that span out Airspan from DSC, and helped prepare the company for IPO in 2000. That year he joined ip.access as CEO and over the following 11 years led its growth from a handful of pioneers to a $45m company with operations all over the world, major customers and some the world's most significant investors. While a telecom specialist he has a passion for the arts and set up Dalati! as a vehicle to bring the lessons learned in the telecoms business to the world of media.
